Kirklees Walking
About Us
Kirklees walking is a joint project of WfH and Kirklees Council providing a varied programme of health walks designed to get local people into regular walking. The walks are led by trained volunteers and are suitable for all ages and abilities, particularly if you have not walked regularly for some time. They are also a great way to meet new people and enjoy a chat whilst doing something that can benifit your heath in the fresh air.
The health walks range from half an hour, up to an hour and an hour and a half in duration at a steady pace, if you need something a bit more challenging we also offer "health walk plus walks" which go for a bit longer and at a faster pace. Dont worry no one gets left behind so come and give it a go.
Contact the individual walk leader for more specific walk information, contact details can be found on the timetables provided.
